David P. Delio, PhD

David Peter Delio, PhD serves as the President of The Newman Idea (TNI).  He has developed the innovative IKON Program, which offers growth in wisdom through conversation and seminars as well as mentoring in character and leadership. Formerly the S.E. Canizaro Chair of Theology at the University of Holy Cross, he is now happily teaching literature at Jesuit High School in New Orleans, while also continuing the work of The Newman Idea with high school and college students.  Finally, Dr. Delio  has published several articles, chapters on St. John Henry Newman, including a book on Newman titled "An Aristocracy of Exalted Spirits."
